The Scout Section is for all young people aged between 10½ and 14, no matter what your gender, faith, or whether you have any disabilities.
A young person can come in to the Troop at 10 and normally stay until the holiday after their 14th birthday.

The Scout Troop is the third and final Section in the Scout Group, after which Scouts are encouraged to join the Explorer Scout Section which is run on a District, rather than Group, level.

The Scouts undertook a sponsored cycle from Glasgow to Ratho today, a distance of over 50 miles.
Mini Expedition

Some of older Scouts went on a mini expedition today, with a short hike out into the Pentlands and some wild camping. This is a little taster of the bigger expedition that they will have to do next year as part of the Chief Scouts' Award
